Routine service assumes that the client will accept Substitutional Service as defined by RCW 4.28.080 p. 15 (Revised Code of Washington): (p.15) In all other cases, to the defendant personally, or by leaving a copy of the summons at the house of his usual abode with some person of suitable age and discretion then resident therein. Service made in the modes provided in this section shall be taken and held to be personal service. If the client prefers or requires only personal service, additional time will be charged as incurred.

Service of Process includes a Declaration of Service or Affidavit of Service returned to the client. Routine service is generally initiated within three days of receipt of your documents. There is no extra cost for service to additional individuals at the same address.
Routine service of legal documents in the Pierce County Core Service Area : $75.00 per address. Routine serivce includes 3 attempts per address.;. Additional attempts are $25.00 each. Routine service is defined as 10 business days from receipt.
Routine service of legal documents in outlying areas of Pierce County: $85.00 - $105.00 per address. Routine service includes 3 attempts; additional attempts are $35.00 each. Outlying areas may be charged a mileage surcharge.
Pierce County Core Service Area includes Tacoma, Spanaway, Puyallup, Lakewood, Steilacoom, Fircrest, University Place, Ruston, Parkland, Dupont, Fife,, Milton, Edgewood and Graham.
Outlying areas of Pierce County include Buckley, Orting, Roy, Wilkeson, South Prairie, Bonney Lake, Buckley, Eatonville, Kapowsin, Sumner, Lake Tapps, Elbe, Ashford, Gig Harbor, Browns Point and Dash Point. KPS and KPN, Anderson Island, and Ketron Island are individually priced.
Expedited service of legal documents in the Pierce County Core Service Area is defined as service needing to be completed in less than 10 business days: $85.00 per address. This includes up to 3 attempts. Additional attempts are $40.00 each.
Expedited service in outlying of Pierce County area is defined as service needing to be completed between 2 and 10 business days: after receipt of documents; $95.00 per address. This includes up to 3 attempts. Additional attempts are $45.00 each.
Rush service of legal documents in the Pierce County Core Service Area is define as service needing to be completed within 48 hours of receipt of your documents. Rush service starts at $100.00 and includes 2 attempts within 48 hours.

HOW TO GET STARTED
Click the Work Order Button to the left to start. You should be able to tab from field to field to fill this work order out online. When it's filled out, print the form and send it along with your documents. Please include any additional information that you may have such as work schedule, vehicle description, physical description etc. This information will often help us to get your documents successfully served. Be sure to include accurate address information as Service of Process fees are charged per address. Mail the documents to our office or call us for pick-up (fee applies). We will begin service as described after receiving your documents. Once service is accomplished, we will send the Declaration of Service to you. If you include your email address on the work order, we will notify you of the service status by email.
